This book shows, in my opinion, very good ideas: alchemists, warlocks, absinth fairies, nightwalkers and oracles live and fight in a steampunk world. From Paris to Oxford, to Genoa, Venice, Vienna, Bucharest and finally to Constantinople a two-hundred-year-old warlock tries to save the oracle from the Alchemists who want her for dark purposes.
Anyway, I think the story was a bit too predictable and I did not like very much the fanfiction style of the novel. Moreover, my copy was full of mistakes.

In questo libro, a mio parere, ci sono diverse buone idee: alchimisti, warlock, fatine, vampiri e oracoli convivono e lottano in un'ambientazione steampunk. Da Parigi a Oxford, a Genova, Venezia, Vienna, Bucarest e infine a Costantinopoli, un warlock di duecento anni di età cerca di salvare l'oracolo dalle mani degli alchimisti, che lo vogliono per i loro scopi oscuri.
In ogni caso, penso che la storia fosse un po' troppo prevedibile e non ho gradito molto lo stile da fanfiction. Inoltre la mia copia era piena di errori.
