Based on the original tale "Murder Mysteries" by Neil Gaiman, this is a great graphic novel!
There's a story within a story: a man tells his memories to a young guy. Normally I like this kind of story-telling, but in this case I must say the piece of the young guy added nothing to the "real" core of this tale. I had the same feeling reading the text-only version, so I guess it has everything to do with the original idea.
There are angels, in a past very far away, trying to figure out right and wrong and love and death and decision-making and plotting and, eventually, they face the big question: is God really just?
The artwork is clear enough, and easy to read.

Una bella graphic novel, basata sul racconto di Neil Gaiman "Murder Mysteries".
Abbiamo una storia dentro una storia: un uomo condivide i suoi ricordi con un giovane. Normalmente adoro questo genere di racconti, ma in questo caso devo dire che la parte con il giovane non aveva nulla da aggiungere alla "vera" anima del racconto. Ho provato la stessa sensazione leggendo la versione senza illustrazioni, quindi suppongo derivi proprio dall'idea originale.
Ci sono gli angeli, in un passato molto lontano, che si sforzano di comprendere i concetti di giusto e sbagliato, di amore, morte, cosa significhi prendere decisioni e ordire complotti, e, infine, si ritrovano di fronte alla grande domanda: ma Dio è davvero giusto?
Le illustrazioni sono okay, la lettura è semplice.
