Sometimes I think that truth is a place.

.
Sometimes I think that truth is a place. In my mind, it is like a city: there can be a hundred roads, a thousand paths, that will all take you, eventually, to the same place. It does not matter where you come from. If you walk toward the truth, you will reach it, whatever path you take.
[Neil Gaiman, The Truth Is A Cave In The Black Mountains]

History, Stephen said, is a nightmare from which I am trying to awake

. - Papi, giochiamo a Marianna ?

Tie strings to clouds

Go sing, too loud
Make your voice break - Sing it out
Go scream, do shout
Make an earthquake...

You wish fire would die and turn colder
You wish your love could see you grow older
We should always know that we can do anything

Go drum, go proud
Make your hands ache - Play it out
Go march through crowds
Make your day break...

You wish silence released noise in tremors
You wish, I know it, surrender to summer
We should always know that we can do anything

Go do, you'll learn to
Just let yourself, fall into landslide

Go do, you'll learn to
Just let yourself, give into low tide

Go do!

Tie strings to clouds
Make your own break - Let them grow

Let them grow (Endless summers)
Let them grow (Endless summers)

(Go do endless summers)

You wish sunrise will never fall under
You wish surprise will never stop wonders

You wish sunrise will never fall under
We should always know that we can do anything

Go do!

I stand amid the roar

A Dream Within A Dream - E.A. Poe

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

Flee, you can. Escape, you cannot.

This is who I am
Escapist, paradise seeker
Farewell now time to fly
Out of sight, out of time, away from all lies

A nightingale in a golden cage
That's me locked inside reality's maze
Come someone make my heavy heart light
Come undone bring me back to life
It all starts with a lullaby

Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye

"Penny for your thoughts?", she asked, brushing at an errant strand of hair.
"I was wondering what you're doing here" , I said half-honestly.
[...]
She stopped about a dozen feet from me.
"Have you figured it out yet?", she asked.
"Excuse me?"
"Why I'm here." She smiled gently. "I've been wondering the same thing for most of my life, you see. I thought if you had any ideas...", she gave me a wry, hopeful smile.
I shook my head [...]
"All I've been able to guess is that you're going somewhere."
She nodded seriously. "That's as much as I've guessed too."
She paused to look at the circle the horizon made around us. The wind caught her hair and she brushed it back again. "Do you happen to know where I'm going?"
[...] "Dont' you know?"
"I have suspicions." [...] "But I've been wrong before."
A silence settled over our conversation. [...] Suddenly she dropped her hands to her sides and looked up at me.
"Where are you going?"
"The University."
She arched an eyebrow, looking ten years older. "So certain." She smiled and was suddenly young again. "How does it feel to know where you are going?"

She can do no wrong

Ne esistono miriadi di modelli diversi e a me, in fondo, piace variare.
No, no: non scherzo!

Sognavo i jeans.
